Obituary For Waddie Floyd
Waddie (Yick) James Floyd (84 yrs) was born to the late Poter and Leola Mae Lawrence Floyd. He Joined the MT. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Shorter, Alabama. He was a Farmer and travelled to Florida, New York and Pennsylvania during the farm seasons.
He took great pride in everything he did. Yick was a loving and deeply caring man, always providing food, shelter to anyone in need sharing his vegetables throughout the community. He leaves to cherish his memories: four sisters; Evelyn Horne of Shorter, AL; Mildred Shelton, Mary Jones and Barbara Johnson, Boston, MA; Brother-in-law Edward Pollard of Shorter, AL; hosts of relatives and friends.
On Friday, November 19, 2021 at 3:30-4:30 PM Viewing/Visitation at the Funeral Home.
