William Lawrence Garrison (73) made his transition in Montgomery,Alabama.He was predeceased by his parents:Jerry,Sr and Laura Ella Golston Garrison;one brother,Jerry (Mary) Garrison,Jr;three sisters:Lucinda (Melvin)Fowler;Elizabeth Barlow and Sallie Mae Griffin.At an early age he accepted Christ and was baptized.His hobbies were,fishing,golfing and gardening. William was a graduate of Booker T.Washington High School in 1964.He leaves to cherish his memories (Four)Sisters:Sarah B. (Daniel,Sr)Webster;Ethel A.(Rev. George)Johnson,Jogod(Mayo Pur)Ambika Dasi;Cynthia E.(Rev. Jimmy)Mikell (Three)Brothers James(Sophia)Garrison;Harold L.(Lizabeth)Garrison and Jared B.(Melody)Garrison;one son :Jerry Lawrence and three grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.on Saturday August 21, 2021 Graveside Funeral Services at 11:00 am at Garrison Cemetery,McInnis RD,Montgomery,AL Rev.George Johnson Officiating.Webster-Progressive Directing.Shorter,AL Mask is required at the Funeral Home when visiting.

My condolences to my whole Garrison family and friends My Dad was a very nice loving and caring man who would help anyone if he could and made many a sacrifice for others.I will never forget nor will I never stop thinking about him he was loved by many.As for one of my favorite memories I'll never forget the first time he showed me how to play Basketball I could never make a shot until one day he came into the back yard and said son if u want to make the shot all u have to do is see it go up and see it go in so I took his advice and applied it to my shot and sure enough it went in I was so happy and he was so and he was so proud of me it was one of the happiest days of my life and that memory stays in my heart forever and I will never forget that day I love u Dad and I will see u when I get to Heaven it will be such a joyful reunion may you relax in paradise I love u .
