Dear Family we are sending prayers, hug's & much love as you celebrate the life of your mother. You have many wonderful pictures and memories to share. I will always remember that Geneva made the best pies, cakes & all in one breakfast meals that I have ever had and she made comforters that could be put on magazine covers. May GOD bring peace to you all during this challenging time. Thinking of you; Love your family, Toni, Tony, Lacie, Shawn & Shane🙏🏾

Thinking of you with sympathy and hoping you find comfort in the presence of God, family and friends. The special people in our lives are never really gone, they have a cherished place in our hearts where they will always be remembered for the love they shared and the happiness they brought. I was in the 1964 Graduating Class at LHSN with Geneva and was looking forward to sharing old school memories when she returned to Charlotte but didn't get the chance. She was cherished in our class and those memories will last forever.
Jackie, Gone are days on Corcoran St. That big kitchen, raiding the refrigerator. The memories are set in stone and so is the love Geneva shared with us. I'm praying for the family and you, may the peace of Jesus flow and comfort each of you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom was a beautiful person. She was so caring, sweet and funny. May the memories be a blessing and God's love be a comfort. -Faye Simons Rogers
You knew me before I knew myself. So many firsts: first taste of homemade strawberry shortcake (scrumptious); first one to tell me what to expect on my first teenage Dr visit (intuitive); first one to ease my pregnancy pain with truthfulness (trustworthy); and first adult to keep my secrets between us (friend and confidant). Always kind, nurturing, willing to listen and give sound advice. You were always my other Mother and would introduce me as your daughter. That always made me proud...to be loved by such a great person and friend. I cherish every moment then and now. Eternal love and praying for comfort and understanding for Serene, James, Jackie, Donita, and Jenelle...and me Ava Morgan
Revelation 21:4 "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
On behalf of Pastor Lloyd and Martha Sawyer and the Sawyer family, may God grant you peace and comfort, dear cousins, in this time of sorrow.
