Ms. Blanche Williams-Thomas, 57, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Tuesday, October 21,2025.
The Obituary
Mrs. Blanche Williams-Thomas was born to the union of Mr. Ulysses Grant Williams Sr. and the late Sylvia Williams on April 29,1968.
On Tuesday, October 21,2025, she received her wings to be with the Lord.
Blanche confessed Christ at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church in Fort Payne, Alabama, under the leadership of her grandfather, Reverend ben Bynum. She later joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of her brother, Reverend Cedric Williams.
Blanche graduated from Collinsville High School and Cosmetology Training in Anniston, AL and obtained her license.
Blanche loved making people look beautiful by styling their hair and cooking. She brought “Joy” and “Laughter” to family events.
She leaves to cherish her memories to: A loving father, Mr. Ulysses Grant Williams Sr of Huntsville, AL; two loving sons, Mr. Rakeem Rondazz Williams of Centre, AL and Mr. Jamiah Rashaun (Aisha) Thomas of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Marie Bynum Fields of Huntsville, AL and Sandy Williams of Lebanon, AL; four brothers, Ulysses Grant (Jeneice) Williams Jr. of Fort Payne, AL, Benjamin Thomas (Angela) Williams of Summerville, GA, Reverend Cedric (Darlene) Williams of Centre, AL, and Thomas Jefferson Williams of Fort Payne, AL; aunts, Mrs. Bettye Battle and Reverend Lucy Granderson, both from Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Evelyne Bynum of Augusta, GA, Mrs. Emma Bynum of Gadsden, AL, Mrs. Alma Jean Bynum of Gadsden, AL and Mrs. Dorothy Bynum of Fort Payne, AL; uncle, Reverend Albert Bynum of Gadsden, AL; nieces, Alisha and Raven Williams, Jasmine and Tianna San Juan; nephews, Tre Williams, Eli Steward and Kendrick Bynum; a special friend, Mr. Marvin Lanier of Huntsville, AL and a host of great nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.
We ask that you please keep this family in your hearts and prayers during their time of bereavement.
Public visitation will be from 2pm-5pm on Saturday, October 25,2025 at West Gadsden Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church located at 4798 Cedar Street, Cedar Bluff, AL. Pastor, Eulogist: Reverend De'Shannon Dixon. Interment: Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
