Ahhh What's to say of a great brother ! In the PGM family of years ago The fun and laughing that would go on when Freddie started his way of preaching a story ! Cigar in his hand telling a story or when he'd say , hey Youngblood come over here n let me learn you something ! Pure Freddie ! Thanks Freddie for the great times , even when the work was hard , you made it fun ! Rest In Peace My Friend ! Jimmy N
My grandfather was the best man I've ever known, he was wise, warm, caring & everything you could ask for in a grand parent. I remember being a young boy and wanting to be like him so bad that I would wear his jewelry and shoes when he was out of the house. I walk proud knowing I'm the grandson of Freddy Lee Lott, and I will always hold onto the good memories I've had with him. I love you Papa and I promise to live my life in a way that will make you proud. RIP.
Freddie was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of meeting. He has been in my life for many years and I never saw him angry or mean. He love my children & I as if we were blood. Over the years he became family to us & he was always there for moments big & smalll, happy or sad. He told me so many great stories and made me laugh so many times but he also gave me pretty good advice and shared some of his life lessons. There will never be another Freddie in my life, nobody else to say "hello sweetheart" when I called him or he called me & definitely no one to call me "Nikki Lou". I pray that Freddie is resting peacefully until we meet again. Sending lots of love, condolences & prayers to all of his family & friends.
I worked with Freddy Lott a long time ago in Con Edison. Although much time has passed seeing Freddy's picture immediately brought back memories of Freddy and his unique personality. Freddy was an experienced Mechanic who Supervisors looked to have on their roster because he was knowledgeable and had vast experience in the many different disciplines it takes to maintain the complicated power plant systems. He was reliable and willing to openly share his knowledge with less experienced Mechanics. Freddy was had an outspoken and uplifting positive personality that had an influence on all he worked with. He would boldly speak his mind and lay-out a situation in a straightforward manner. In other words, "He was not afraid to stand up to the man"! A curious memory I have about Freddy is that every time you would see him, he had a cigar, in his hand or his mouth, but I don't remember ever seeing him smoke it. Things that make you go ummmm!
