Her Story

During the afternoon hours of Sunday, August 11, 2019, Mrs. Elizabeth (Pudding) Cash made her transition to be with the Lord. She was the first born child to the union of the late Mr. Herman Smith and Pauline

Whorton in Gadsden, Al, on December 15, 1931.

Elizabeth received the Lord at young age and accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. She joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church where she sang in the Bethlehem Choir and also played the piano. She was educated in the Etowah County Public School System. Early in life, she met the love of her life, Mr. Edward Wilson and to this union, 18 lovely children were born, of which 4 preceded her in death.

She loved being a mother above all and worked at a Doctor’s office in her earlier years. She was well beloved by all whom came in contact with her. She touched many hearts in her 87 years that the Lord blessed her to see.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Edward Wilson. 3 Daughters; Elaine Fleming, Patricia Gross and Nancy Hudson. She leaves to cherish her loving memory: Daughters; Teresa Cash, Nakia Cash, Patricia, Debra Cash, Brenda Cash, Sandy Montgomery, Rosie Montgomery, Doris Ruth Cash, Jonnie Cash, Barbara Cash, Fiala Cash, Michael (Lynn) Cash, Edward Cash, Muhammad (Greta) Hassan, Terry Cash, Darryl Cash, Benny Cash, Keanecus Cash, William Lapsley and Charles (Julia) Cash. Grandchildren: Saleria Cash, Shauntez Cash, Nyeka Fleming, Jamichael Fleming, Marcus (Taylor) Fleming, Diana Mostella, Edward Cash Jr., Ashawanta Cash, Nassir Mostella, Tahir Mostella, Carl Cash, Westley Harrison, Cedric Castleberry, Brandon Bugsby, Amanda Castleberry, Denise Hudson, Auyawna Flemimg, Naya Hudson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
