Lawrence “Bo” Willie Dudley, Jr., 62, of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020 at his home. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents, Lawrence Dudley, Sr. and Catherine Grier.
Lawrence was born in St Louis, Missouri, on July 22, 1958. He graduated from Gadsden High School in 1976. Lawrence was married to Connie Dudley (Lindsey) on August 22, 1980; they were married for 40 years. Lawrence worked at Goodyear Rubber and Tire for many years and later became a semi-truck driver. Lawrence was an enormous Auburn football fan and he absolutely treasured the sport of football. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman as well. Lawrence is lovingly remembered by his wife, Connie, of Gadsden, AL; sons, Derius Lindsey and Lawrence (Treasure) Dudley, III; sisters, Debra Roberts of Anniston, AL, Patricia Dudley of St Louis, MO, and Lisa Spencer of Birmingham, AL, brothers, Clifton Simpson of Gadsden, AL, Charlie (Rosalind) Dudley of Douglasville, GA, and Sean (Tora) Spencer of Gadsden, AL; aunts Dora Grier and Brenda Dobbins, both of Anniston, AL and uncles, Leamon (Wanda) Grier of Alexandria, AL, Charles Dudley of Georgia, and Lonnie Dudley of Kansas; grandchildren, Jasmine, Maya, Derius Jr., Alon, and Josiah and three great-grandchildren, Xavier, Zovia, and Ace; mother-in-law, Dorothy D. Lindsey; as well as, a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will viewing will be 12 Noon- 6 P.M Monday, December 28,2020 at West Gadsden Funeral Home Chapel Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on December 29, 2020 at Lincoln Hill Cemetery with Reverend Earl Dudley officiating.
