I meet Martha at HMA in the fall of 2008, we used to sit together during lunch and we always had a good time during those 25 mins of freedom! lol!! I remember this particular time she had this weird looking meal and I ask her what that was? she said well Chris, (she used to call me Chris) these are "chitlins"! I thought to myself -hmmm okay.. she said try them! and I did!! although I wasn't a big fan I have to confess.. we just looked at each other and laughed!!! she was proud of me for trying them! Then one day I came in with some fresh cherries and she looked at me and say What's that?! I say well Martha these are cherries! and she said I've never had those! I said well, try them! and she did and she liked them!! there are so many memories I have with Martha! we always talked about our children Alaysia and Danielle cause they were close in age.. until we moved to different departments and we lost track of each other, but it didn't matter, every time we saw each other it was as if we had seen each other yesterday! hugs and kisses never failed! I'll always think of you my dear friend, but I know that we will see each other again! RIP and please put a good word for me in heaven!!
