Mary Elizabeth Young Pearson was born July 7,1925 from the union of John Young of Alexander city, Alabama and Euela Milton Young of Birmingham, Al; in Alexander city. She was the last living of her other 10 siblings. She was married to the late Columbus Pearson.
She received her education within the Gadsden City School System. She devoted her life to Christ at an early Age. During her early years Mary loved going fishing and to the casino with her friends, but as she got older she just enjoyed sitting outside on the porch laughing, talking, and spending time with her friends and loved ones.
We remember her as a loving person, who touched the heart of those around her. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She never met a stranger.
