THE OBITUARY FOR MICHAEL HEAD
Michael James Head, age 62, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning. He left behind his wife of 38 years, Michelle, a son John and grandson Bentley. as well as many other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, John Silmon and mother, Barbara Barnes as well as grand parents. He was a native of Gadsden and owner of several businesses over the years. michael was a graduate of Emma Sansom high (class of 1982)and graduate of Gadsden State technical College. He was known by his humor, love for the underdog an his Boston Terriers, Dozier, and Bella. Donations in his memory to Boston Terrier Rescue Association.

- Signing of the Register Book & Public Viewing: 12:00 noon – 2:00 PM | Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Chapel of West Gadsden Funeral Home.
- Graveside Services & Committal :
- 2:15pm | Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Forrest Cemetery ( 700 S 15th St, Gadsden, AL 35901).
