Mr. Leon Cameron III, 49, of Wellington, AL, formerly of Gadsden, AL passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
Mr. Leon Cameron III was born on November 5,1974 in Gadsden, AL, to the late Mr. Leon Cameron Jr. & Mrs. Emma Jean Taylor.
He accepted Christ at an early age and attended the Antioch Methodist Church of Attalla, AL.
Leon was educated in the Attalla City School System.
He worked for Barrack Manufacturer.
To know Leon was to love him. He was that family member that loved to make people laugh. There was never a dull moment around him.
He is preceded in death by: Father Leon Cameron Jr. and Mother Emma Jean Taylor: Son, Christopher Sanders; Grandmothers, Mattie Bell Taylor, Vernia Mae Cameron and Grandfather, Leon Cameron Sr; Aunt, Margie Cameron Thompson and Sherry Ball; Uncles, James L. Taylor, James Graves, and Enoch Cameron.
He leaves to cherish his memories to: His daughters, Asia Agninde, Ceaira Marbury; Grandchildren, Rosalyn Foresman, Moise Agninde, Esaie Agninde, and Carson Marbury; Brother, Undra (Tynessa) Cameron of Radcliff, KY; Sister, Betty Jean (Charles Byers) Cameron of Gadsden, AL, Cindy (Jeffery) Kennedy, of Gadsden, AL, Tia Cameron (Mitchell) Price Rome, GA, and Le’Sheka Cameron (Wade) Suttle of Gadsden, AL; Uncles, David (Nancy)) Cameron of Las Vegas, NV, Michael (Robbie) Graves, Gadsden, AL Timothy (Dianna) Cameron of Gadsden, AL and Michael (Robbie) Graves of Gadsden, AL, and Eddie Taylor; Aunts, Karen Graves of Attalla, AL, and Anita Cameron of Gadsden, AL, Bessie Lee Graves of Gadsden, AL, and Linda Taylor of Gadsden, AL; Special Friends, Charles Jones (God Father), Deloris Malone (God Mother) ,and Beverly Moore (God Mother) Special Cousin, Timothy Cameron Jr. and a host of special cousins, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 12noon-6pm.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 21, 2024 at 12noon at the West Gadsden Funeral Home (Betty D. Robinson Chapel).
