Obituary For Mr. Ronald Lee Moore

Mr. Ronald Lee Moore, 70, of Gadsden, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

He is survived by his loving family.

Mr. Ronald Lee Moore was born on December 8, 1953, to Mr. Robert Moore and Ms. Jewel Kirby in Gadsden, AL. He married his longtime sweetheart of 15 years, Dorothy on December 12, 2021. Ronald was very active in his church, First Baptist, holding the title of Deacon, also singing in the choir. With his love for football, Ronald was one of the first African American Quarter Back’s at Emma Sansom High School and he was also a TOP FAN of Alabama Football! He was a retired Truck Driving of 10 plus years.

Ronald was preceded in death by: his parents Mr. Robert Moore, Ms. Jewel Kirby, sisters Mary Moore and Annie B. Moore Calloway.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Dorothy Moore; Daughter Sonya Johnson of Gadsden; Stepchildren James Brown, Anthony Brown, Christy Brown, Dortinia Brown; Grandchildren Adrienne Gray-Brown, Justin Johnson, Toriana Woods; special friends James Duckett, Larry Thorner and Lorenza Rowe, along with a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, family, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11am at First Baptist Church, East Gadsden.
