Mr. Tyrone Sheppard, 49, of Attalla, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 The Obituary Tyrone Sheppard was born in Gadsden, AL to Ms. Barbara Sheppard and Hayward Robinson on August 20, 1972. He departed this earth on January 28, 2022. Tyrone was preceded in death by his son, Rodriquez; his wife, Christy Scissum Sheppard; his father, Hayward Robinson; brother, Zeta Sheppard and his grandparents, Arthur & Alice Spears and Janie Bell Robinson and a multitude of other relatives too numerous to count. Tyrone confessed his life to Christ at an early and united with Outreach Restoration Church under the leadership of Pastor Claudine Crumpler and served as an outstanding Usher. Tyrone attended and graduated from Jackson Olin High School in Birmingham, AL and Litchfield High School in Gadsden, AL. He worked in Parking Lot Maintenance at EOG as a manager until he became disabled. Ty loved football. He was a die-hard Auburn fan. He loved kids, checking on his neighbors, doing odd jobs and riding with his Uncle Joe. Most of all, he was a pleasure to know. He also loved country music.
Tyrone leaves to cherish his memories: A loving mother, Ms. Barbara Sheppard; Stepdad, Gregory Blakely; Three sons, Hayward underwood, Johnathon (Brandy) Scissum, both of Gadsden, AL, and Orman Smothers of Huntsville, AL; three grandchildren; brother, Ronnie (Carolyn) Sheppard of Calera, AL; sisters, Christine & Nancy Robinson of North Carolina; six aunts, Teresa Brookins Spears, Cheryl (Joe) Pritchett, both of Gadsden, AL, Gail Spears of B’ham, AL, Wendy (James) Sheppard of Chattanooga, Tenn., Sonya and Tina Robinson of Gadsden, AL; Special sister-in-law, Renee Batson; niece, Zarijah Sheppard; nephews, Ronnie Sheppard Jr., Cammeron Bishop, David Johnson, Damian (Danielle) Batson; uncles, James (Wendi) Sheppard of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Joe (Cheryl) Pritchett, a host of special cousins, other relatives and friends. Special friends, Ms. Geraldine & Miracle Westfield, the Stallworth Family, Mother Louise Rushon, Mr. Duane Ball, Etowah Used Cars, and the entire Outreach Restoration Church Family. Special thanks to the Davita Dyalisis Team in Gadsden and Birmingham, his Techs and nurses, for the care and love shown to Tyrone. Public viewing will be Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1pm-8pm and Family Hour from 6pm-8pm.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Outreach Restoration Church at 1:00 pm, located at 1105 Hurst Street Gadsden, AL 35901. Eulogist: Pastor Claudine Crumpler. Interment: Lincoln Hill Memorial Park.
