Obituary For Mrs. Rebecca Lynn Crider

Mrs. Rebecca Crider, 75, of Gadsden, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. She is survived by her loving family.

On April 29, 2025, Rebecca Crider gained her wings and entered Heaven in the arms of Jesus.

She was a lifelong resident of Gadsden, AL.

She graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1968.

She loved roller-skating, where she met the love of her life, Jerry Crider. They were happily married for 55 years.

She loved music, movies and playing cards.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Crider; daughters, Valerie (Barry) Hubbard and Vanessa Martin; grandchildren, Chasity Martin (Jeffery Evans), Derrica (Matt) Bruce, Dalton Hubbard and Kaydence Baker; sisters-in-law, Becky McHenry and Alenka Smith; dozens of nieces & nephews; 15 great grandkids and too many chosen children, grandchildren to count.

We would especially like to thank the wonderful staff from Compassus. She called them family.

Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Southside.
