West Gadsden- Announces the passing of Mrs. Sindy G. Whittaker, 59, of Gadsden, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Sindy Gaye Whittaker was born on January 9, 1966, to Mr. Hazen Lyon and Mrs. Mabel Lyon in Beach City, Ohio. She grew up there and attended Fairless High School in Brewster, Ohio. She loved nature; enjoying trips to the beach, going camping, the mountains, and fishing just to name a few. But most of all, Sindy loved getting to spend time with her grandkids and watching them grow. Her undeniable love for God and sweet spirit will always be remembered by those who were graced to know her.

She was preceded in death by her father Hazen Lyon; mother Mabel Lyon; and her true love, Mr. Wayne Cambron.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughters Heather (William, Sr.) Fadule, Stacy (David Lloyd) Whitehead, Shannon (Billy) Hill and Dana (Andy) Morgan; her grandchildren Jezzica Fadule, Jeimy Fadule, William Fadule Jr., Avery Fadule, Mya Fadule, Kira Fadule, Lyla Fadule, Michelle Fadule, Brayden Burt, Aaron Burt, Alexis Burt, Monika Brewster, Hunter Brewster, Declan Morgan, Griffin Morgan and Adalyn Morgan; great grandchildren Jacelynn Jennings and Jazmin Jennings; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at The Bethany Baptist Church (3993 Shoal Creek Road, Ashville, Al.)
