Obituary
Ms. Sybia Bennetta Cole was born on June 12,1964 in Gadsden, AL to the late Harold Cole & Elnora Collier Cole.
On March 15,2024, Sybia heard the Master’s call, answered, and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sybia confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Attalla, AL.
She received her education through the Attalla City School System and was a graduate of Etowah High School, class of 1983.
There were many things that Sybia loved doing. She loved gospel music, singing, cooking, going to the casino, watching Law & Order and CBN, her family and most of all, taking care of her daughter.
She was the life of the party. She would give you the business and curse you out if need be……lol but we always knew that she loved us and as a child, very mischievous. She was known for getting her siblings into trouble.
Sybia had a kind, compassionate, and loving heart. She would give you the shirt off her back and anything else that you needed if she had it to give.
She is preceded in death by: Her parents, Harold & Elnora Cole; Sisters, Della Cole and Connie Underwood; brothers, Kevin Cole, James Cole, Reginald Cole and Norman Cole; two nephews and one niece.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories to: Her daughter, Treasure Byers of Gadsden, AL; son, Malcom Ragland of Springville, AL; sisters, Carolyn Cole of Las Angeles, CA, Sylvia Cole of Gadsden, AL, Margret Phillips of Chattanooga, TN and Cornelia Phillips of Gadsden, AL; brothers, Cleophus Cole of Attalla, AL, Jon Cole and Kim Cole, both of Gadsden, AL; one aunt, Eula Cole of Las Angeles, CA; one uncle, Ernest Cole of Talladega, AL; Special friends, Debra Roper and Leroy Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
