Superintendent Bell is survived by his loving wife Mother Hattie K. Bell; Superintendent Bell has been in ministry for 56 years also serves as Pastor of Victory Temple Church of God in Christ for 44 years.

Ronnie Earl Bell was born on November 5, 1946, to Ola Mae Croskey Gordon and Andrew Bell.
Ronnie Bell met and married the love of his life, Hattie K. Bell, on June 6, 1976. Through this union, they lovingly adopted Dolores Michelle Bell and Christina Boyd.
Ronnie Bell accepted Christ at an early age at Dolomite Church of God in Christ. After years of faithful service, Ronnie Bell and his family joined Bessemer #1 Church of God in Christ, where he served faithfully until 1981 Under the leadership of Superintendent David Wren, he was sent to Gadsden, Alabama, to pastor Victory Temple Church of God in Christ. For 45 years, he faithfully served as pastor, preaching the Gospel, leading God’s people, and sharing the love of Christ throughout the community. He remained committed to his calling until the Lord called him home on May 26, 2026, at 9:45 p.m.
Life in Christ
In his early years, Ronnie Bell evangelized throughout the state of Alabama as well as in northern states, conducting revivals and winning souls for the Kingdom of God. He was well known throughout the Gadsden area for his warm personality and a smile that could light up a room.
Ronnie Bell never met a stranger and shared the love of God with everyone he encountered. He served wholeheartedly as Superintendent of the Victory Dominion District and as First Administrative Assistant of the Alabama Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ. His life was a testament to faith, service, and a sincere love for both God and people.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ola Mae Croskey Gordon; his father, Andrew Bell; his daughter, Dolores Michelle Bell; and his son, Cedric Bell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Hattie K. Bell; two daughters, Rhonda Bell Dorsey and Christina (Troy) Knox; one son, Derrick Bell; one God daughter Kimberly Spears; five grandchildren, Taylor Dorsey, Tyler Dorsey, Cedricka Bell, Jasmine Bell, and Joshua Bell; six sisters, Barbara Bell Howard, Lorene Daniel, Joyce Gordon Smith, Claudette P. Bell, Alma (Anthony) Powell, and Sibyl Joyce English, all of Birmingham, Alabama; five brothers, Walter (Sarah) Bell of Dacula, Georgia, Glenn Richardson of Kentucky, Jackie Gordon, Benny Gordon, and Charles (Paula) Bell; a loving and supportive sister-in-law, Beatrice Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
