Bennie Edward Carey

My condolences to the family of Mr. Bennie Edward (we grew up together downtown Jackson, he lived on Bloom St and I lived on Henry St and I always called him Bennie Albert and he never corrected me maybe he thought I was saying Bennie Edward) anyway I pray God continue to restore Blessing upon his family. I'm deeply saddened by the passing of Bennie. We worked together at the Health Department , and he quickly became one of my favorite co-workers. He was not only an incredible nurse but an even better person. I'm going to truly miss the laughs, the jokes, and his kind spirit. He made every day a little brighter, and he will be deeply missed.

Bennie was my Nurse Supervisor at the Hinds County Health Dept. for several years and what a wonderful supervisor he was! He was so kind,patient,and friendly. We all missed him so much when he retired. Bennie's family and closest friends are in my prayers. Rest In Peace,friend.

My heartfelt condolences to Bennie's family and friends. Bennie was a great guy with a laugh larger than life. I met Bennie over 40 plus years ago while I was a student at Hinds in the Whitfield Class. Those were the good ole days at Whitfield. Bennie was a great Nurse and Friend. Glad he was watching his beloved JSU winning before he passed. Bennie will be missed. Prayers for his family!!!

I lost a dear friend... and the world lost a beautiful soul. You were more than just a coworker — you were family. You gave my children their shots, made us laugh through the nerves, and always showed up with compassion, patience, and love.

You were an amazing nurse, a solid friend, and one of the most genuine spirits I've ever known. Your kindness left fingerprints on so many lives, mine included.

It's hard to imagine not seeing that smile or hearing that laugh again. But I take comfort knowing your heart touched so many people while you were here.
