Ms. Brenda Faye Walker, 71, was born on January 27, 1953 to Howard Walker & Agnes Sorsby in Jackson, MS. Brenda passed away on February 24, 2024 in Jackson, MS.

Public visitation will be held on Friday March 1, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Westhaven Funeral Home- Jackson Branch.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024, 10:00 a.m., Free Mission M.B. Church, 2229 Florence Ave. Jackson, MS 39204. Burial will be held in Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, 8001 Highway 49 N. Jackson, MS 39209.

Brenda was a high school classmate of mine who was always perfectly coiffed, with matching nail polish EVERYDAY! I shared a dorm room with her at USM & we traveled every weekend back to Jackson so we could go home & she could see my brother who she was dating the time! Fond memories of her.
