Brian and I knew each other from Greater Bethlehem Temple and Jackson State University. He was a kind, gentle, and intelligent person. Brian was very quiet and observant, but he was also very smart. I remember when I needed help in calculus and pre-calculus, he always understood the assignment and was willing to help me. Because of his support, I was able to succeed and move forward in life. I truly feel blessed to have known him.
I also remember that when I needed a ride home from work at the Metrocenter Mall, Brian would stop what he was doing to pick me up and take me home because I did not have a car at the time. Whenever Brian spoke, he spoke gently and always treated me with kindness. He was always there for me. He was a good friend, and he will be greatly missed.
Brian loved his family deeply, especially his little brother. Even though they were completely opposite in many ways, the love between them was clear. Family meant a lot to Brian, and he carried that love with him in everything he did.
This is very hard for me, but I thank God for the opportunity to have had Brian in my life. He was one of the people who inspired me to do better and become the person I am today. Brian, may you rest peacefully. You will always be remembered and greatly missed.
If there is anything I can do day or night let me know
Every time I saw my lil cousin it was always love and we'd ask how each other's mom and brother were lol. Boy was so smart growing up I'm talking straight A's, I started calling him Brain 🧠instead of Brian, you'll be missed dearly!
