My Sweet Baby Boy My Gentle Giant

You were more than just my baby cousin. I used to tease you all the time and say you were my oldest son. You'd get so mad and say, "No, I'm the oldest!"—then smile and say, "Yeah, 'cause I'm your Big Baby." Sometimes we'd sound like siblings the way we'd go back and forth. I'd win—or maybe you'd just let me win.

On the outside, people saw your stature and demeanor and might've felt intimidated. But on the inside, your heart was pure gold. We talked about everything. One thing you always said was, "I want the world to know the WOODALL name."

Well, baby boy—you did that. You are LEGENDARY. The world knows your name.

Losing you is by far the worst pain I've ever experienced. What am I supposed to do now? How am I supposed to live without you? That's the one thing you didn't teach me or prepare me for.

The hardest part is letting go. If I had known that day would be our last, I would've held on tighter and never let you go. So as I learn to navigate this new chapter without you, please visit me often. Send me signs. Let me know you're right here with me.

You meant so much more to us than just being our nephew. It was a true honor to watch you grow—from a little boy into a remarkable young man. Passing down my love for basketball to you and seeing you embrace the game the way I did brought me so much joy. You truly made me proud. I'm going to miss all the times you stopped by the house just to check on your Auntie Ree and me, and those random phone calls that always made our day. I'll never forget the special role you played in Malik's life. He loved talking about you, and he always said he wants to be just like you when he grows up. Get your rest now, baby boy.

My condolences go out to the family.

Cam has always been a person to bring good energy. You had no choice but to smile and laugh when he came around. He was always in good spirits and a joy to be around. He never met a stranger and he always acknowledged people and showed love to everyone he came across. I will never forget the days he would come to our house and ask for bobo. They would sit outside and just talk for hours. Cam you truly will be missed! Get your rest, we love you! To the family we are sending our love, prayers and condolences!
