My heart is so heavy as I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Odell Bracey. He was never just my friend's father. He was a father figure to me in every sense. During our teenage years, he took me in, accepted me as his own, and loved me without judgment. That kind of love is rare, and I will never take it for granted.

He prayed for me, covered me, and showed up for me in ways that helped shape the woman I am today. I will always be grateful for his presence in my life and the role he played in it.

To the family, I am praying for your strength and comfort during this time. Please know that his love reached far beyond what many may have seen, and I am one of many whose life is better because of him.

I love you all and will continue to keep you lifted in prayer.
