"Well done, thy good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:21

Those are some of the greatest words we could ever hope to hear, in life or in death. Dedric, you lived a life full of service, love, laughter, and a heart for others.

You were like a little brother to me. I still remember meeting you over 20 years ago, laughing together, and you beating me in a video game. Those are the memories I'll always hold onto.

My brother, thank you for your laughter, your smile, your big heart, and for welcoming me as part of the family. You will truly be missed, but the love you gave and the lives you touched will never be forgotten. I love you today and forever. Rest well, my brother. Job well done.
