Obituary For Derrick Fitzgerald Estes
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Autumn Woods Cemetery, 4000 W. Northside Drive, Jackson, MS 39209.
Mr. Derrick Fitzgerald Estes was born in Louisville, MS on October 23, 1966 to Mr. Chester Triplett and Ms. Helen Williams. He was preceded in death by his brother Dewayne Williams. At an early age he confessed his belief in Christ and was united with Wesley United Methodist Church. He graduated from Provine High School in 1984. He pursued his desire to create graphics at Delta Technical College. Derrick later sought a career as a Pharmacy Technician. Derrick was united in Holy Matrimony to his sweetheart Marquita Estes and they set out to start a future and family. He had a passion for fishing, traveling, and photography. He also loved spending time with family and friends. Derrick never met a stranger. He touched the lives of many people with his kindness and generosity. Derrick entered the gates of eternity on January 9, 2021. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his mother, Helen Williams; his father, Chester Triplett (Lucy); his sweetheart, Marquita Estes; two children: Markesha and Kayla Thomas; sister, Towanda Haley (John); three brothers: Donald Williams, Anthony Triplett, and Alfred Triplett; two grandchildren: Terrah and Terran Cox; a host of aunts, uncles, one niece and nephews, and cousins.
