To the Ellis family you have my sincere condolences. I really admired and respected Dr. Ellis. He was my and my husband's doctor. I remember when I told him that I was going to get a two by four on my husband, Dr. Ellis was always poised and professional, he laughed so hard. Dr. Ellis was always a down to earth guy, I had never seen him laugh like that, so from that day forward he always had a hearty laugh and joke for us.
Sincerely Ms. Dorothy McGee
7 July 2022 Dr. Tellis B. Ellis III M.D. Our Prayers Are With His Family I will never forget both his mentorship and financial support. When I was Director of Athletics at Jackson State University, his dad hired me as the first full-time baseball coach. When he spoke to me, his famous quote was "When you win, I win." My quote to Dr. Ellis would be, "When you won as an outstanding cardiologist, your family and Jackson State won." "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal" (Isaiah 35:10) Sincerely, Coach Bob Braddy & wife Sarah

Like St. Luke the "beloved" physician of the Bible, Dr. Tellis Ellis III treated our bodies and our souls. The medicines he prescribed far exceeded mere pills and tonics that healed our hearts, but also brought healing to the spirits of men and women throughout Mississippi's communities. We thank God for Dr. Ellis' ministry to the sick. We will miss him. Our sympathy goes out to the Ellis family as they find comfort in knowing that Dr. Ellis is presumed, without rebuttal to be in the presence of Our Lord.
Dr Ellis was kind & caring Dr to my husband. He can now rest from his labor of great work. I send prayers to the family. The Oscar Martin Jr. Family e

My prayers and condolences to the Ellis Family. Thank God for giving me so many wonderful years working with first at Baptist and for many many years at St. Dominic Hospital. He had a very special Charism that the patients always lit up with joy just seeing his face show up in their room. You have been the extension of God's healing hands for so many years. May your Soul RIP
Dr TB Ellis 111; was my cardiologist, Dr Ellis was my late sister's Beatrice Redmond-Clay cardiologist as well. We were blessed to have him not many doctors would hav taken my sister as a patient. (Beatrice was comatose for more seven years) I will never forget the respect and dignity he showed my sister sister. His passing left a huge hole in my heart. I pray God's courage and peace over his family.♥️

Our prayers are with your family.
Growing up, I had great admiration for Tellis and his family.
One of my first memories was playing peek-a-boo with his mother when I walked to the post office on campus to pick up the mail.
His father always took a moment to tell me about the men in the photos in his office in the old who had worn the "J" proudly.
Love to all.
Sincerely,
Ben Wilson
