Mrs. Eunice Colbert was born April 6, 1934, to the late Millie Williams in Pocahontas, MS. Eunice confessed her life to Christ at an early life uniting with Society Ridge M.B. Church in Pocahontas, MS and later joined Pleasant Gift M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. Mark Johnson. Eunice was a homemaker. She was also the “Neighborhood Mom” and daycare. All the children were welcome to come talk, eat and play. They loved her and she loved them. Eunice didn’t mind listening and talking to people. When asked her opinion or for advice, she wouldn’t hold back. She’d say what she mean and meant what she said. She loved to dance. Eunice was preceded in death by her mother Millie Williams, her husband Walter Colbert, Sr., her brother Robert Benson, and sister Liza Bell James. Eunice leaves to cherish her memories: five loving daughters: Annie V. (Dan) Course, Victoria (Alvin) Patton, Jr., Shirleen Colbert, Linda (Eddie) McEntee and Mary A.
