My son recently became an usher at church. On Saturday, April 9, 2022, he was scheduled to serve at a funeral at our church. I didn't know who the funeral would be for because it wasn't announced; I was only in attendance to support my son in ministry. Before I went in the church, I heard a voice say, "You're going to see Missionary Hill today." I thought ok, that would be a blessing because I haven't seen her in years. When I got inside the church, I found out by total surprise I attended the Homegoing Celebration of the woman who inspired me to give my life to Christ 10 years ago, Evangelist Mary J. Burnley Hill. It was my first time I ever saw the power of God manifested through ANY human being, and I have yet to experience another like her since. Her funeral was lively and Holy Ghost filled; we had a good time! I couldn't be sad because I knew she lived her purpose for God and she was about her Father's business.
Evangelist Hill selflessly, tirelessly labored in love to win souls for Christ, DAILY. Calling to evangelize encouragement to babes in Christ through discipleship, interceding for the children of God, and ministering deliverance to those oppressed by the devil. When this woman stepped on the scene the enemy knew it was time to flee! Hell may have called her birthdate a problem date, but GOD called her birth a solution date for the Kingdom of God. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few.
I thank God that He allowed Evangelist Hill to plant the seed of righteousness within me. Her life was an inspiration to a hardheaded individual like me. For many people, it takes meeting Christians who display the transforming love of the resurrected Christ to them. And for that, I can boldly say that Our Heavenly Father said to Evangelist Hill, "Well done my good and faithful servant. Welcome back home!"
Condolences to the Hill family.

Dear Hill Family:
Although it has been many years since we saw Evangelist Hill, it was a blessing to know her and fellowship with her (at Faith Community Fellowship Church and in evangelism class)! May God comfort, strengthen, bless, and keep you all.
