Obituary For Fannie Ruth Little Sutton

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Maddox Road, Jackson, MS.

Mrs. Fannie Ruth Little Sutton was born July 19, 1955, in Hinds County to the late Mr. Jack and Mrs. Mary L. Little. Fannie was the eighth child born to this union. Fannie attended Jackson Public School System were she received her high school diploma from Wingfield High School in 1972. In 1974, Fannie married Mr. Ronald “Ricky” Sutton to their union three sons were born. Fannie was a devoted military wife and mother. Military spousal life gave Fannie the opportunity to meet many people and build lifelong friendships while living in California and Texas. Upon returning home to Mississippi; Fannie worked as a cashier and pharmacy technician for Joe’s Pharmacy, Sack and Save grocery and Rite Aid pharmacy. Fannie accepted the Lord into her life at a young age; she was baptized and attended Mount Pleasant UMC Church (Middlebrook UMC). She later became a faithful member of Crossroad M.B. Church were she enjoyed attending worship service; Sunday school and Bible study. Fannie was a kindhearted and loving person. She loved her pets as well and Fannie never met a stranger. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for family and friends. She really cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Fannie was called home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, mother; two sisters Ruth Taylor and Gloria Williams, one brother Howard Little and one niece Donna Taylor. Fannie leaves to cherish her memory three sons: Ronald “Terrell” Sutton (Tracee), Patrick D. Sutton (Shaneka), and Kevin A. Sutton; four sisters: Betty J. McGee, Mary F. DaVaul, Brenda F. Little, and Kathy A. Little; four brothers: Jack Little, Jr., James E. Little, Frederick C. Little, and Danny Little; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, one very special god- daughter, Shirley Vance and other special friends that helped Fannie throughout her time of need.
