Deacon Ellis could always inspire the worship service by singing spiritual hymnals that would usher in the Holy Ghost. Deacon Ellis was a man that loved the Lord, the Church and his family. It saddened my heart to hear Mr Jimmy had passed I've been knowing the Ellis family all my life we all song together I played the guitar for the Angelette Singers of Jackson Miss I remember those Anniversary at Mt Moriah on Medgar Evers and other Church i remember him and Mr VD Ellis they was some singing brothers I'm praying that God give the Ellis Family Strength and Comfort your Hearts
