Jimmie Lee was like my second momma. She taught me to iron and tried to teach me to cook. She did teach me to make potato salad but my son Van said it's not the same. She was there when my daddy died and helped take care of my momma. She was there with me when both my children were babies, helping me change diapers , feed and bathe them just like they were hers. Both of them have grown up hearing stories about Jimmie and how much she meant to me. She was part of my family and they have grown to love her like I do. She will forever be in my heart.
