Larry Carlton Armstrong

I will always remember Mr. Armstrong and forever grateful to him. He serve as my boys principal at Jim Hill. He was never too busy if we(I)needed something handled. He got it done and always greeted us with that big "kool-aid" smile. To his family he was a great man and will be greatly missed. You all are in my hearts, thoughts and prayers 🫶🏽🙏🏾🕊️🕊️

Larry and Sandra Armstrong "Binky" my cousin will be truly missed he has always had a warm smile that could light up a room Binky left a profound influence in people's lives from the contributes I've read, I pray that you all be strong during this time of bereavement just know God is with you both he promised that he would never leave nor forsake us and one day we will see Binky again stay strong in the Lord be blessed

According to the definition of friend, it states that a friend is a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond. Words cannot express the friendship that we had. We were more the fraternity bothers, we were also both Masons. I will always remember your voice, your laughter and many trips. We have been though a lot together and I am really gonna miss you. It hurts to know that you are gone, but I know you are in a better place and you have no more pain.

Armstrong Family, the Lord will comfort you in this time. Larry adored his parents, and they adored him. He was one of my favorite childhood friends since John Hopkins Elementary—his brilliance amazed every teacher. His impact and voice were undeniable; I can still hear him singing "Shepherd Boy" in our Christmas play.

We remained friends from grade school into adulthood. He was always kind and brought warmth wherever he went. What a blessing to have known him. Rest on, my friend.

To Larry and Sandra, I remember the deep love the two of you had for your beloved Binky, and the love he had for both of you. The three of you shared such a loving, healthy, and joyful bond as a family. Words cannot express the hurt I feel for your loss. I pray that Father God strengthens you and brings you healing during this difficult time.

I just found out. Larry was one of a kind and we shared a lot of fun memories working at Kroger. We often joked about the differences in Greek like especially him being an Alpha and Me being a Sigma but everything is always good. I know God makes no mistakes. Larry get your rest job well done I still wish I had more time.

I first met Larry at a Compozitionz performance. After speaking with him, I learned that he was an educator also. Larry gave me an opportunity to work with his band and the opportunity to become an academic interventionist. He was always a stand up guy and kept everything around him positive. He will truly be missed.

My dear friend was truly a blessing from God, and his presence enriched my life in more ways than I can express. I will forever cherish the memories we created together—traveling together, sharing meals at our favorite spots, spending countless hours talking on the phone, quoting movie lines that only we understood, and discussing every topic under the sun. He brought joy, laughter, and wisdom into every conversation.

Jambalaya will forever remind me of him, especially how he would always ask me to make some. Those simple moments now feel even more precious. And though my heart is heavy, I find comfort in knowing he is already in the heavenly choir, singing his songs with the same spirit and joy we loved here on earth.

I thank God for the gift of his friendship and for the time we were allowed to share. May the Lord grant you all peace, strength, and comfort. Rest well, my brother and my friend, until we meet again in God's eternal kingdom.
