To the Shelby, Ransom, Darby and Amos Families: We were sincerely saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved Mother Lillie B., but comforted and overwhelmed with joy in knowing that she was a strong woman of faith in Christ Jesus. We will miss her rhythmic piano tunes, and her songbird voice. My husband was lovingly called "My Boy", who was one of many of her boys. She always had a smile and a pleasant encouraging greeting. I will truly miss, "Looka here now", "That's so precious" and more. Beautiful Christian woman that was always teaching, and she was blessed with a photographic memory. Her legacy is rich with the love of God, her family, her church members, her students and friends. We give our love and comfort with the Word of God from Revelation 14:13 " And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labour; and their works do follow them". You will forever be in our hearts from Rev. Vincent and Sis. Patricia H. Houseworth.
I will always remember Miss Lillie as a loving and lovely woman of God. She was bright and always engaging with me and others. She and my mother got along very well. She will be missed by many as her spirit is being celebrated in heaven with her Lord Jesus!
