Mrs. Lily Faye Butler Pierre of Jackson, MS was born on October 16, 1960 in Jackson, MS to Alcon Butler Sr., and Vernestine Evans. Lily was a wonderful mother, wife, sister, friend, believer, and businesswoman but more than that an unmovable force who lived life to the fullest and inspired others to do the same. Her resounding faith in Christ despite life's challenges speaks to the essence of her soul. We lift up all those she touched with her enigmatic energy and love for life, and celebrate her indelible impact.

I am saddened to hear of Lily's passing. She was an amazing lady. The short time I knew her, she made a great impact. She was always smiling and encouraging all of us in the DBA program. She remembered very specific details about everybody and truly wanted to connect with each of us. I noticed she wasn't in our classes anymore, but never expected she was no longer with us. You are missed, Lily. My deepest condolences to her family. -Amber
Lacie, Nile, Chase, and Mr. Pierre your mom and wife was literally one of the funniest and realest people I've had the pleasure of knowing. Every interaction was met with kindness and pure genuinenes. I could ALWAYS rely on her to tell me the truth and be one of my biggest cheerleaders. She's definitely one of a kind, and I'm going to miss her tremendously.
Gennette
Ed, Chase, Lacie and Nile I just pray you continue to "look to the hills from which cometh your help knowing that it all come from the Lord." I want to thank you for what you have done for me and Messiah. It's great to know that Faye was a believer and wonderful christian worker in the vineyard of our savior Jesus Christ. Blessing to you all
We will miss you cousin Fae. The last time I saw you was at Lacie & Brandon's wedding but the moment I will remember you most is when my mother Rosa Faye Butler was in the hospital and you popped up out of nowhere. You was like, "Hey cuz, I heard you were in the hospital and had to stop by to see you while on my way to the airport to head back to Los Angeles". You made my mom feel so loved in that moment and I will forever remember your deep love for family. Rest In Peace cousin Fae.
Your little cuz, Kecia
My deepest condolences and prayers to Ed and all of Mrs. Pierre's family. May God's Love comfort you. Todd Baxter
My condolences To All the Family of my beloved cousin Faye. It was such a pleasure to share a wonderful afternoon with Faye and Maryland, full of smiles and laughter along with delicious seafood selections at Pappadeaux in Atlanta recently, having no idea of what would follow such a joyful event that ended with us telling jokes under the street light. That event exemplifies the spirit I had come to know my cousin as, enjoy the moments of each day, which reflects the verse."Today is the Day the Lord has made; let us be glad and rejoice in it" Psalm 118:24. Much Love Stan King and Family.
My prayers and condolences are with Ann and the entire Butler/Pierre family. I pray that God continue to bless you and comfort each of you today and forever. I've known Faye and the wonderful Butler family all my life. Faye was absolutely an amazing women that walked in excellence while inspiring others during her journey of life. I pray Numbers 6:24-26 upon each of you. Much love from my mom (Cora Mae Adams) and our entire family. Angela Juanita Brown

Fae, my friend, my partner in crime, my road dawg...Your mere presence could light up a room. People reflected your radiance everywhere you went because you had such luster in your life. You gave off a light that illuminated every moment. You had a sheen that sparkled and reflected your face. Your giving spirit, hope and joyful heart gave light to others. You built a spirit of perseverance and character of honor on the foundation of your greatness to serve the Lord and mankind. You wanted more for your community, and others. You lived a very fruitful life sharing the amazing bounty of your goodness with others. As I reflect upon your life, I am reminded of "The Rose Beyond the Wall" Excerpts of my Literary Adaptation: Beloved and admired in many hues and shades As a classic token of Love, Purity, and Innocence When nestled together in an array of beauty It speaks with gratitude, convictions, and gentility. There it stands stretched toward the sun, Sprinkling the air with its captivating aroma Not daunted by the curiosity of the passerby, But welcoming as it unveils the beauty of its smooth, soft petals Astonished by its undeniable splendor The Passerby takes the moment to admire and listen pensively to the story the Rose begins to tell' Speaking to many who traveled along the way As the days passed swiftly by, it spread its branches, straight and tall Oh, what a sight to behold as those she impacted Cascaded in the ocean of her intellect and smile...... The Rose continues to spread its branches straight and tall One day, a beam of light shone through A crevice that had opened wide— The Rose bent gently toward its warmth, Then passed beyond to the other side Now, you who deeply feel its lost, BE COMFORTED—the Rose blooms there—- Its beauty even greater now, Nurtured by God's Loving Care~ Until We Meet Again~ Yolanda McKenzie Dickey
