Loretta Anderson passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. Born on March 10, 1952, to RJ and Willie Mae Lindsey in Clinton, MS, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and confidante to many.
Loretta was a proud graduate of Sumner Hill, where she was a member of the flag corps. She went on to work for General Motors, Operation Shoestring, and Walmart.
On December 2, 1971, she was united in marital bliss to Alfred Anderson, Jr., and from their union, three children were born. Loretta loved being a devoted and faithful wife and mother. She loved kids, playing games, cooking, and hosting family times. She was the GLUE that held everyone together. Family was always her priority.
Preceding Loretta in death are her parents, RJ and Willie Mae, one sister, Dorothy Yarborough, one brother, Wilson Lindsey, and her precious great-granddaughter, Teliasia Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 54 years, Alfred Anderson, Jr, three children, Keisha, Tameka, and Alfred III, two brothers, Robert and Charles, four sisters, Willie Mae, Carolyn, Patricia, and Brenda, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
