Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 11, 2022., 10:00 a.m., Mt. Zion Baptist Church 514 W. North St. Canton, MS 39046 with burial at Natchez Trace Cemetery, 759 US Hwy 51 Madison, MS 39111.

What a glorious day June 5 was for mom. I'm sure the gates of heaven blew wide open when she arrived. I know exactly where my mother is tonight and for that I'm grateful.

To The Whisenton Family my condolences to you all. I grew up in Mt. Zion Church and always watch Mrs. Mary Nell Whisenton she had so much poise, style , charisma and such Direct loving spirit. I always admired her love for her family, Pastor and Any Musical organization. Mrs. Whisenton didn't mind standing, clapping and Praising God any where and any time. I'll continue to keep the Family in my Prayers because there's No Love like a Mothers Love.
Mary Nell and I meet through my mother, The late Beatrice McHarris. She was a true woman of God and one who touched my life in a loving way. Her smile will truly be missed

I had chance to meet Mrs.Whisenton @ New Beginning Hair Salon; years ago Mrs. Whisenton was a person that knew & love the Lord.She always would tell us how to carry ourselves as younger women She was a definitely a role model.I would often tell her I wanted to be like her when I grow up!
