Wow, Mrs. Selma Josephine Lyons Wilson was my classroom music teacher at A.H. Lovett Elementary School. She could certainly wield that Board of Education back then which made all of us better and successful in life. May she find peace perpetually.
My most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mother Wilson. Her kindness could not be measured and her compassion for others was endless. She will be greatly missed (especially the phone calls).
Mother Wilson you will be missed. You had such a pleasant smile. You were a woman of wisdom. Thanks for sharing.
I have never forgotten how Aunt Selma took care of me when I was 5 years old and scraped the roof of my mouth in front of her house. May God grant comfort to all who loved and experienced her love.
Sister Selma 'Jean' as I affectionately called her was a woman of warmth, intelligence, sincerity and a love for righteousness. She never changed from the time I met her (1968). She loved her husband and children. If you asked about one, she told you about them all. (smile) I loved you Selma 'Jean' and miss our long talks. Rest well. -Maxine Morris Spurlock
Aunt Selma, I have so many words and so many amazing memories. You were a light. You were a constant. I will forever love you. ~Your favorite ❤️
There are so many wonderful memories I have as a little girl and adult. I loved going to the Wilson house because it was so many children and my best friend was there(Robin). She was my girl scout troop leader and my mom great friend. She always gave me a big hug. I will miss those strong big hugs and her smile. I saw her as a saved woman who loved God and her family. She was a treasure and I will miss her greatly. My love and prayers go out to the family.
