Eddie was my mentor when I was in high school. He introduced a group of young men including myself to YoungLife. He took me under his wing and all over the state to visit with other groups. He introduced us to mission work in Little Rock, Ar working with the Irby's and took a bus load of young men and women to Windy Gap, NC. His spirit will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest well Eddie, although I've told you, you will never know how much you meant to me.
I met Pastor Spencer years ago at a young man's funeral! He spoke during the time when gangs had threatened to show up at this service. Pastor Spencer was unmoved by the threat and spoke from his soul! He would visit our church from time to time! An amazing man of God! You will be missed! So much courage and heart!!β€οΈβ€οΈππ½ππ½ππ½.
