The passing of brother-in-law, Reverend J. J. Sampson, has affected me more than I expected. I will forever remember the way he answered the telephone with his "hello". We had some memorable conversations on the telephone regarding politics, religion, civil rights, Black people, books, etc. Brother-in-law even treat me to a delicious fish dinner at his favorite fish place.
