My God,it seems it was only yesterday that we walked the halls of Westside and Forest Hill. The Class of 73.My heart is heavy, but memories remain. Phillip was a track star at Forest Hill well deserved. To the Coleman family from Dwayne and Vera Perry Thomas we offer our Condolences.
My heart has broken in many pieces..Phillip one of my favorite cousins was more like a brother that always kept me laughing and encouraged..The Class Of 73' will never be the same , Phillip was the one who reminded us of our school days from Westside and Forest Hill, he would tell us about every teacher and classmate funniest..Just three months ago he had the floor, he was running late for prayer but he made it, a man full of faith he loved the Lord , he said it happen 57 yrs ago GOD changed his life he knows The Man..A greater testimony is what he said to me, he will be missed greatly, our talks sometimes would last hours, Jackie would just shake her head because she knew Phillip had me laughing about up bringing and teaching..He would always end the call with I love you cuz, keep praying we will talk later..
Until we meet again cuz, Cellestine Lewis Myers
