Mrs. Sandra Joy Bridges- Woodley, 63.
Sandra Joy Woodley peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in her residence. She was born on Thursday, August 3, 1961, to Pat Washington & Mary Bridges. She was a proud product of Jackson Public Schools & gained her degree from Wingfield High School in 1979. She went on to gain her nursing degree from Philips College but, she decided to switch careers & dedicated 30 years of her life to driving buses for Jackson Public Schools. She leaves her loving husband Lemon Woodley to celebrate her legacy, a brother Darrell Dixon (Monica), 2 sisters Barbara Washington & Shonette Bridges, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, non-biological children & grandchildren, relatives, loved ones, and friends. Her parents preceded her in death, her son Octavious Lemond Woodley, her bonus son Jermaine Washington, and her sister Karen Bridges.
We will surly miss you San... We had the best high school bus route to Jim Hill...we became family.

I will NEVER 4get u...U was the BEST bus driver I have ever had. You use to drop off me and my brother off at our front door rain or shine and blowed if we wasn't outside... U will b truly be miss .

O my goodness San-like it hasn't even fully registered yet that you are gone. Me/you & puff talked on the phone a few months ago and I'll never forget it. We been rockin since JPS Transportation South days. You & our mother always had the ultimate respect for each other and that speaks volumes to me. You will always be family!
