Shartavia Sherrell Green

My heart was broken when I heard of her passing. I didn't even know about it until I went in to Goodwill one day and saw her picture on display. I truly loved her spirit. She always tried to get me to adopt her, especially around Christmas. So of course I bought her something every year. She will truly be missed. May she rest in peace. In Jesus' name. Amen

I didn't know Shartavia well. I shop at Goodwill where she worked was always greeted by her beautiful smile (her eyes were also filled with the light of her smile.) I brought my little boys along, and she always talked to them and tried to get them to smile and laugh. Shartavia was so friendly, kind, humble, welcoming, and loving. She always talked about her little nephew. He had the best auntie and I know she will be missed. I surely will. Praying for God's peace for your family. -Kateri Gill

Baby Girl (my nickname you), I am so sad to hear of your passing. I meet you when you worked at City Thrift. Your sense of humor is unmatched and your stories about Grandma were hilarious. You also loved your nephew; give me that change (coins) because I started saving for my nephew. I would drop by Goodwill just to see you and Katie. I love y'all like family. I always asked about you if I didn't see you. I hadn't been in lately to chit chat because of my schedule but I was going to make time because you were making me some of those pretty earrings you wear. Rest in peace Baby Girl, I am going to miss you!!!! May God encapsulated your family in His comforting arms!!! Your friend, Sue
