Obituary For Tayloree McLaurin
Taylor was born on February 20, 1932 in MaGee, Mississippi. He was the fourth child of seven children to be born to Mack McLaurin and Sadie Carter McLaurin. Taylor’s family moved to Jackson, Mississippi where he grew up as a young boy. From there he moved to Chicago, Illinois and lived there for several years. In the early 1960s he moved with his siter to Los Angeles, California where he stayed for many years. He returned to Jackson in 1984 to be with his mother and remained in Jackson until his death. Taylor enjoyed his life and loved to talk to people. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Georgia Lewis, Maxine Moore, and Ann Robinson, and his brother, Mack McLaurin, Jr. He is survived by his sister Genorla Griffith of Jackson and Jerome McLaurin of Durham, North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
