Obituary For Craig S. Roberts

Craig S. Roberts, 64, of Rahway, passed away on September 3, 2026.

Craig was a long-time resident of Newark, NJ graduating from Weequahic High School in 1980. he also attended Wilberforce University in Ohio. He loved football and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Craig is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Branch Roberts and brother, Michael D Roberts.

Craig is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Smith-Roberts; his son, Dashon Roberts (Whitney); granddaughter, Daphne Roberts; stepson, Derrick Foster Jr (Shalice) and grandsons Blake and Korde Foster; his father, Robert T. Roberts and mother-in-law, Reather Smith.

Cremation was held privately.

I grow up with this man from the age about 8 years old. I know his Mother, Father, and Brother they was family. Craig was a character that he would leave a mark. I haven't hung out with this brother in a long time but spoke to him recently. A memorable moment. REST IN PEACE. MUCH LOVE
