Eva Geraldine Clark, 82, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, just two days after celebrating her birthday. She was born on January 26, 1944, in Trenton, New Jersey, and was raised in Newark, New Jersey.
Eva attended Trenton High School and lived a life centered around love, family, and caring for others. She was known for her wonderful cooking and for always making sure everyone around her was cared for. Her kindness, strength, and nurturing spirit touched many lives.
Eva was born to Ethellyn Clark, later known as Ethellyn Cook. She met the love of her life, Milton Spivey, at the age of 16, and they went on to share many years together.
Eva was a devoted mother to her children: Milton Clark, Sherill Clark, Terrell Antoinette Clark, and Tracy Clark. Stepmother to Richard Grimsley and Christopher Cook. She was preceded in death by her son, Andreโ Clark.
She was a proud grandmother to Ashley Clark, AAโMir Clark, Tamir Clark, Zamar Clark, Nahjei Clark, Tahjei Clark, Nakira Clark, Iyaan Clark, Nareik Middleton, and Zakia Grey, and a loving great-grandmother to Ahzir Clark and Isaiah Clark.
Eva is also survived by her siblings Carion Grimsley and Linda Grimsley. She was preceded in death by her siblings George Bush, Barbara Grimsley, Dianna Bush, John Bush, and Cynthia Cook.
Eva will be remembered for her loving heart, her dedication to her family, and the warmth she showed to everyone she met. Her legacy of love, strength, and care will live on through her family and all who knew her.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home
