Mr. Jimmie Lee Stevens entered into rest Saturday, July 4, 2026. He was born August 29, 1949, in Wadley, GA.

Jimmie was a Vietnam War Veteran who earned his BA in psychology from Augusta College. He was a retired U.S. Postmaster and Realtor. He was active in several organizations such as the Knights of Columbus, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, Boy Scouts of America, Toastmasters of Augusta, Capital City Bank and the Midville Class Reunion Committee.

Jimmie leaves behind his devoted wife, Susie of over 50 years, two sons, one daughter, three daughters-in-law, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one stepsister, and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 11, 2026, at12:00 Noon at The Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity, 720 Telfair St. Augusta, GA 30901. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens with military honors. Thanks to all the healthcare workers that cared for him during his illness.
