Obituary For John Hartfield

Martinez, Georgia—John Willie Hartfield entered into rest on October 3, 2019 at Augusta University Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 11:00 am at Oakey Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Wright. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hartfield was a member of Oakey Grove Baptist Church for 70 years. Survivors include two devoted sisters, Fannie Flournoy and Mattie Polk-Fogg; a loving niece, Aleathea Ann Jones Wise; two beloved aunts, Jessie Ree Hartfield and Thomasina Hartfield; three devoted cousins, Dr. Kedrick (Cynthian) Hartfield, L. Jerome (Cheryl) Hartfield, and Dr. Jennifer A. Hartfield; a special son David H. Polk; a special granddaughter, Dalice Polk; special nephew, Derek Hill, and other relatives and friends.
