Augusta, GA—Mrs. Evelyn S. Spencer entered into rest Thursday, December 26, 2019 at The Place in Martinez.

Funeral service will be 11am on Friday, January 3, 2020, Bethel AME Church, 623 Crawford Avenue, Reverend Augusta Hall, pastor. Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the mortuary.

She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne F. Spencer. Survivors include her daughter, Susan S. Cofer; three granddaughters, Cheri (Joseph, Jr.) Tutt, Nyoka Spencer, and Soukeyna (Antonio) Truesdale; great grandchildren, Xiomarra, Lena, Zion, Phillippa, Joseph, Jacob, and Carsyn. Godson, Bruce W. Wade of Charlotte, NC.
