Mrs. Mattie L. Parker of Augusta, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at her residence.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Mausoleum Chapel, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, with Reverend James Williams, Jr., officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum.
Public viewing will be Friday, August 7, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
She is survived by her brother-in-law Charles Parker; sister-in-law Carolyn Chappelle; granddaughters, Daryl and Kendall; great-granddaughter Ireland; special “daughter” Marcia; nephews (Fred, Joseph, Louis, Alvin and Eddie); nieces (Erma, Mildred, Bernadette, Freddie, Phyllis and Colleen); members of the Families of 7; and a host of other relatives and friends.
