Augusta, Georgia-Ms. Dianne Washington Brown entered into rest Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Dianne Burnette Washington Brown was born February 7, 1944 to the late Margarite and Zander Washington in Augusta, Georgia.
Member of Church of the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Retired from Medical College of Georgia as a Supervisor of Central Supply.
She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Mack Brown, Jr. and her former husband, Johnny.
Survivors are son, Joseph Brown; one brother, Charles Washington; four grandchildren Natashia (Taheim) Roach, Nekkia (Carlton) McNeal, Joseph Emanuel Brown, Jr. And Latoya Brown; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Georgia.
Public viewing will be Friday, July 2, 2021 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

Dianne was considered a close family friend to my mother Shirley growing up. I would often babysit her two sons Johnnie and Joseph as toddlers. We unfortunately lost touch over the years. My sincere condolences and heartfelt prayers are for her son Joseph and other family members. May Dianne rest in peace with her son Johnnie who preceded her in death.
