Ms. Patricia M. Bass
January 1, 2026
Patricia A. Bass, born May 5, 1950, in Augusta, GA, an- swered the call to dwell with her heavenly Father on January 1, 2026. She obediently slipped into the Lord’s embrace after her journey through life which was marked by her unwavering strength and her remarkable spirit.
Patricia attended Immaculate Conception Academy, T.W. Josey High School and Augusta Technical College. Eventually, her career led her to Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gor- don, where she dedicated herself for 28yrs as a Nursing Education Assistant with commitment and integrity. Her work ethic was a testament to her character, as she strove to bring her best to everything she undertook.
Those who knew Patricia remembered her as a beacon of elegance and style. Her interest in fashion was not merely a hobby; it was a re- flection of her creative soul. She had an innate ability to inspire others with her unique sense of flair, encouraging all around her to embrace their individuality.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lila Bass and Arthur Mays. Patricia’s legacy of love and inspiration continues through her surviv- ing family: her devoted sons, Marcus Tankersley and Kelvin Bass Sr; her cherished grandchildren, Aleigha Kalbach, Marquis Tankersley, Kelvin Bass Jr., and Serenity Bass. Each of them carries forward her lessons of resilience and grace.
Patricia leaves behind countless memories that her family and friends will forever hold dear. Her life was a testament to the power of kindness, faith, and perseverance, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
May her spirit continue to shine brightly through those she loved.
